Quartz Movements

How long does the battery last?
A standard alkaline battery will last a year or more. For longer life in hard to reach places or where the clock is used in unusually cold/warm environments, battery life can be extended by using a lithium battery. These can usually only be found in the AA size at camera shops.

The pendulum stopped but the clock is running (or vice versa), what is wrong?
Most quartz pendulum clocks use separate batteries for the timekeeping function and pendulum features. Clocks with chimes also often have a separate battery. Replacing the battery for the specific feature should restore operation. It is often easiest to replace all batteries at once -- if one wears out, the other will probably soon follow.

Radio Controlled Movements

How long does the battery last?
A standard alkaline battery will last about one year. For longer life in hard to reach places or where the clock is used in unusually cold/warm environments, battery life can be extended by using a lithium battery. These can usually only be found in the AA size at camera shops.

My radio controlled clock is exactly 20 or 40 minutes off, what is wrong?
Interference from other electrical objects can jumble (or block) the signal and cause the unit to receive an improper signal or not set. If this is a repeated problem, move the clock to a different location. Remove the battery for a minute to force the clock to search for a new signal.

The clock is off by exactly 1-4 hours, why?
Be sure to press the correct time zone button. if you live in a location that does not observe daylight savings time changes (parts of Indiana or Arizona) press the small unmarked gray button to cancel the self changing feature.

My clock stopped at 4, 8, or 12 o'clock. Why?
The clock has had a loss of power or has just been started up and is searching for a signal. This is normal, and the clock will set itself to the correct time after it receives a signal. This usually happens overnight.

Barometer

What does barometric pressure tell me?
Barometric pressure is, in most regions, a highly accurate predictor of weather to come. When pressure is rising or high, moisture is pushed out of the region and sunny skies and fair weather usually prevail. When pressure falls or is low, moisture and clouds often move to your area, resulting in cloudy skies and/or precipitation. The exact numeric reading is not so important as the trend of the pressure, i.e.: rising or falling.

How do I calibrate my barometer?
Since air pressure is affected by elevation, you will need to adjust your barometer. To obtain your local barometric pressure, watch your local news, contact a local airport, or listen to your local NOAA weather radio station -- or visit www.weather.com for local weather including barometric pressure for most areas.

Glassware

Can I put Infinity vases and other glassware in my dishwasher?
We recommend that the items be hand washed. If a dishwasher is to be used, we suggest that liquid detergent be used. Powdered type detergent may etch the glass, leaving a permanent cloudiness.

Where is the glassware made?
All glassware items are handmade in Poland.

Does the glassware contain lead?
Infinity glass is not leaded.
